Capture-2.jpgAdam McNeill was recently promoted to president of CE Printed Products, a manufacturer based in Carol Stream, Illinois. “We are very excited about this transition, and we look forward to the fresh ideas that Adam will bring to the table,” said Robert Ohr, the company’s former president who now serves as CEO.

We caught up with McNeill to talk about his new role and his vision for the company:

What does it mean to you personally to be the new president of CE Printed Products?

I’m very proud to take over after working so closely with Bob Ohr for 12 years. This is a wonderful independent/family business that has remained relevant for over 33 years. I’m energized to be part of the ongoing tradition and to lead the company as we adapt to meet the ever-changing market needs. It is a true honor to be the first new president of CE since its founding in 1984, and I take it very seriously. Our clients and employees rely on me to lead the company in the right direction and I’m dedicated to that mission.

What are your main goals as the leader of the company?

We have a great team and I plan to spend time working with them to identify opportunities within our organization that will allow us to continue to innovate. Also, I want to continue to grow our business through expanded product and service offerings. We are investing in new equipment to more efficiently service our clients’ needs and streamline our internal workflow. We have seen significant growth in our manufacturing division, and I will continue to invest in that aspect of our business.

What do you think CE Printed Products is doing particularly well today, and what can you improve upon?

We have done a great job of being flexible and nimble to service the changing needs of our distributor customers. However it has come at a cost internally. We must remain focused on simplifying workflow in our facilities. Additionally, we made strategic moves when we saw consolidation in the envelope market and expanded our converting capabilities. It was a great move and helped us continue to grow and reach more customers.
